Former Ford factory used to produce cars, only for a few months, until the factory was repurposed for ammunition and supply equipments. It is as the site of British surrender to Japanese occupation in Singapore in 1942. A modern exhibit, with artifacts, videos of the years, as well as clippings and accounts from people affected by the World War II and surrounding events is on display.
It is well worth a trek to Bukit Timah and to spend a few educational hours.
Inside exhibit on prior to surrender and post-war.
The board room where a historical milestone happened.
